Your password for WebShield not only gives
you access to the Internet, but also to personal
E-mail sent to you, some of which may contain
sensitive matters. In order for you to protect
your privacy, it is important that you select
a password that other people will be unable
to access your account.
Choosing Something Unique
Try not to use a password that can be found
in the dictionary. Else it makes it that much
easier for hackers who use a dictionary file,
to crack your password. Also try to avoid using
passwords such as your username typed backwards,
or date of birth, or other such familiar numbers
or words.
A good password to choose would be a mixture
of numbers and letters that are not likely to
be forgotten by you. For example, your car's
registration number would not be a bad start.
Remembering Your Password
It is important that you choose a unique password
that you will remember. It is usually a bad
idea to write down your password, just as it
would be unwise to write down your Automatic
Bank Teller PIN. Commit your password to memory,
it makes it that much harder to crack.
Six Points to Remember

5. Use a variety of capital
and lowercase letters
6. Don't disclose your password
to anyone
